Downstairs

As many of you know, we've been working in our downstairs. Making the move from a concrete slab of floor to many finished rooms has been quite a task!!!

This is our laundry room. It has been painted and the subfloor has been laid. To come: Pergo type floor (actually it's swiftlock), trim, cabinets w/granite, a place to hang clothes after washed or ironed, and the door to the utility room to be stained.

This is a view from standing in the living room looking down the hall with bathroom doorway on the left and the stairs & laundry room are to the right. Right now it's a place to cut wood.
This is the bathroom during the tile laying process. I cut & handed tiles to Keith who laid and measured. Then later I grouted & sealed it.

Here's the wall where the vanity & mirror will go; there's another sconce but it's hiding.

And I had to get a photo of Keith laying tile in the closet because he is like corner to corner body parts! hehe.

Looking up!!

Just an update - I really am sorry I've been terrible at it.
-We just found out that our little one is a girl!! We're debating between Madison Elizabeth and Madison Alexandra...
-For the past 2 monthes we've lived at my in-laws so that we can build up a good downpayment and find the right house- well after those two monthes of searching we've found a little bongaloo that we put an offer on and today the bank let us know that we got the house!! We get the keys in 3 weeks and construction starts immediately so that we can move in apx 6 weeks!!!
-I also got a call that I got the job at The Ohio State Bank as a part time teller which pays more than where I'm at and is closer than where I'm at now.

We're Pregnant!

Hey guys! I appoligize for not being able to post recent pictures of the progress of the remodeling projects. Just recently we discovered that we are expecting a baby Jan 30, 2008!!
Meaning with the morning sickness it's difficult for me to be motivated enough to take pictures of the house and what-not's but I will try to be more diligent in the future. :0)

Hey you guys! Thanks for checking in on the site, sorry it's been a minute since I've posted any new pictures of the house progress, but all we've been doing is sanding sanding and ripping out things that aren't very noticible. Thankfully though I was able to get a handle on painting the bedroom, hopefully today it'll all get painted and bedroom pics can go up for view!

Tearin Out Again

Here is where the old closets were and looked like ^
Here is them GONE! v (the bed is covered up bc dust)

We're framing in the old closet's frame work as dummy walls for decor look then later put in a fire place and two chairs on either side.

Almost Done w/ Closet!!

I have shelves! (the walls are brown-pic doesn't show well)

And a place to get ready in the a.m. all we need now is flooring, clothes in, and a table under my mirror & it's done!
